- The building site is located in Munkkiniemi and Munkkivuori. The mixed water sewer from Munkkiniemi is separated into a waste water sewer and a storm water sewer. As for the sewers, they will be implemented using the unexcavated methods of undercutting Valtatie 1. The contract also includes renewal of water pipes. In Munkkiniemi, in addition to the park, the water supply is being renovated on Perustie and the secondary line of Perustie. In addition to the park, the water supply in Munkkivuori is being renovated at Mesenaatinkuja in Kielosaarenpuisto. The work is mainly carried out using open excavation methods. At highway 1, the storm water drain and the waste water drain will be under-drilled/rammed. The pipes are mainly built on pile slabs. An estimated 5,900 m2 of piled slabs will be built. An estimated 13633 mtr of reinforced concrete piles and 4350 mtr of steel pipe piles will be built.
