• The HUS group surveys the solutions and service providers available on the market to organize oral healthcare services for patients in long-term care at Ohkola Hospital (Ohkolantie 10, Kellokoski). The object of the acquisition is an oral healthcare service (dentist-dental nurse-pair and dental hygienist) for 120 long-term patients at Ohkola hospital, almost all of whom have a diagnosis of psychosis. Psychotic illness often includes a weakening of the ability to function, which may also appear as a lack of ability take care of your own oral hygiene. In addition, deficiencies in life control and functional capacity are often associated with eating habits that are harmful from the perspective of oral health and/or the use of e.g. nicotine products. The need for dental care is abundant and previous dental care is often remained unfulfilled for a long time. The patient is accompanied at the reception by an escort (hospital nurse). The contract period is tentatively planned for two (2) years and two (2) one (1) year options. The purpose of the information request is to collect information implementation models, operating environment, capacity, imaging and price and cost structure. The information is used in the preparation of the request for tender. This is not a procurement notice and does not bind the procurement unit.
