Description : Fingrid Oyj, the Finnish national power transmission system operator, is planning to build several new overhead transmission lines (OHTL) during 2022...2024. The lines will be designed and built for voltage levels 400 kV and 110 kV. The construction of OHTLs, including stringing of conductors, will be performed as turnkey contracts by specialized transmission line construction contractors employed separately by Fingrid. However, outside of these contracts is delivery of conductors, which Fingrid will procure by himself.
With this invitation to participate Fingrid Oyj is looking for capable and interested candidates to provide the needed conductors. In our operating model, the network of service and goods suppliers as well as good co-operation between different contractual partners are especially important. We require all our contractual partners to be aware of Fingrid-s significant duties as responsible transmission system operator in Finland and to commit to responsibility of the economic, social and environmental impact of their operations.
