- The object of the procurement is helicopter flights related to the marking and banding of wolves. Two employees of the Finnish Natural Resources Agency are on the flights. It is tentatively planned that the flights will take place in eastern Finland.
One helicopter with pilots is needed for panning. The helicopter must be sa type of helicopter equipped with a flying turbine engine. The pilot is expected to have experience approaching wolves by helicopter. The helicopter must be suitable for demanding flying with a load of three people (the pilot and two employees of the Finnish Natural Resources Agency).
The helicopter must be able to fly safely mat night in the snow. In order to shoot and aim the anesthetic dart, the helicopter must have a sliding door that can be easily opened and closed during the flight or an opening window specially designed for this job. If necessary, the helicopter must be able to be refueled and serviced in the field.
In addition, Natural Resources Centerus is investigating the need for separate helicopter flights related to the search for wolves. One employee of the Finnish Natural Resources Agency is on board the flights. The helicopter intended for these flights does not have to be a helicopter type with a jet turbine engine.
The procurement can be divided into several parts.
