- North Karelia's procurement agency is requesting your bid for the City of Joensuu's urban construction services commission in accordance with this call for tenders and its attachments for the street construction contract for the construction site mentioned below. The construction site is the City of Joensuu infrastructure networks and green areas are located in the southern grid area. The contract includes the renewal of the entire street cross-section with structures on Papinkatu between Länsikatu-Koulukatu and the connecting areas. The offer is requested as a total price contract. Site presentation will be held electronically via Teams on Thursday, April 2, 2026, starting at 10:00 a.m. Registration for the site presentation must be made by e-mail by 3:00 p.m. on April 1, 2026 to the address ilkka.ratilainen@joensuu.fi. The builder's recommendation is that the contractor is familiar also on site in the contract area before submitting the offer. If the contractor fails to visit the site, the contractor cannot later refer to matters that might have come to light during the inspection. The offer is binding and it will prepare in Finnish. The entire procurement process is in Finnish. The contract must comply with the directly binding regulations of the European Union, Finnish laws and regulations, and regulations issued by the authorities, e.g. structure, equipment, work and in terms of fire safety and electrical safety.
