• Description:
• The object of the procurement is the rehabilitation of ALS patients to be organized for personal customers of the Finnish National Pension Service (Kela). ALS adaptation training is rehabilitation carried out in a group, and it is carried out as face-to-face rehabilitation and with accommodation provided by the service provider at the office. Procurement is done nationwide, also taking into account the perspective of geographical coverage. Taking geographical coverage into account aims to secure the regional service need and the customer's ability to choose a service provider. The procurement areas and the municipalities that belong to them are described in Appendix 3 Framework arrangement and Appendix 4 Map and municipalities of the request for tenders. By submitting a bid to this tender, the bidder undertakes to provide the service to customers who come from all over Finland ALS adaptation training is carried out as discretionary rehabilitation in accordance with Section 12 of the National Pension Service's Rehabilitation Benefits and Rehabilitation Cash Benefits Act 566/2005 (later KKRL or Kela's Rehabilitation Act) and as demanding rehabilitation in accordance with Sections 9 and 10 as medical rehabilitation. The rehabilitation of Kela's customers starts on January 1, 2027. The ALS adaptation training is intended for customers over 18 years of age who have been properly diagnosed with ALS (amyotrophic lateral sclerosis). Someone close to the customer has the opportunity to participate in the client's rehabilitation full-time.
