• Description:
• The municipal engineering services of the city of Ylivieska are tendering for the mowing of the park and other public areas for the year 2026. The offer is requested from both the mowing crusher unit and the boom crusher unit, there is also the possibility to offer only the other shredder unit. The mowing shredding areas to be competed for mainly concern median lanes/street ramps in the street area and undeveloped park areas, mowing areas appendix 1, appendix 2 and appendix 3. The areas also include undeveloped plots of land and properties of side villages and small areas (of built-up parks and other areas), e.g. slopes of river banks, ditches and "canals". The crushing mowing areas presented in Appendices 1, 2 and 3 are indicative and do not bind the customer. The areas are divided mainly for areas to be mowed every three (3) weeks and six (6) weeks. The schedule also includes 1-2 times in the summer season grasses and sedges that are crushed with a mower and/or a boom. Other break mowing schedules are also possible. The schedules are indicative and not binding on the customer. - the schedules of the areas to be crushed with the boom are adjusted according to the other schedules and soil conditions of each area. - there may be vesakon crushing work already in May, we try to take bird nesting into account.- mowing starts in the first week of June and then all the areas of the three (3) and six (6) week cycles are covered (so that the areas of the three (3) week cycle are generally crushed first).
