- Acquisition of architectural and main design services for the design of a ground parking facility. Meilahti Parking New Building will be built between the HUS Power Center and the Children's House Foundation Ronald McDonald area,From which pedestrian connection to the power center tunnel and then to the hospital. Driving and walking connections from the parking facility will be implemented with bridge solutions. The parking house is driven through Paciuksenkatu.design and its connection to their surroundings, yard areas and access/walking connections. The facades must be of high quality environmentally friendly. The parking house serves HUS employees from 6am to 5pm on weekdays and users of the recreational area at other times. The goal is to place the parking houseso that the natural values of the area are taken into account. The aim is to control traffic so that increasing traffic does not cause congestion or safety risks to existing streets or cause harm to public transport. The goal is to enable future Baana alternative policies through the area, eitherThrough Oksakoskenpolu or Mississipinrait. These figures may still be refined during the project planning phase.
