Description:
The subject of the assignment contract is the provision of public passenger transport services between Rauma and Tampere. Within the scope of the agreement, train traffic is offered between Rauma and Tampere, Rauma and Kokemaki, and Pori and Kokemaki. Every day of the year, there are 2 shifts to Rauma and Kokemaki in between, enabling an exchange connection to Pori-Tampere trains and 2 direct shifts between Rauma and Tampere. In addition to these shifts, on weekdays from August to Midsummer, there are two morning shifts from Rauma to Kokemaki that enable commuting to work, enabling a changeover connection to Tampere, and two return connection from Kokemaki to Rauma. It is possible to change to one of these trains from the Tampere-Pori train.
The acquisition also includes as an option one evening train from Pori to Kokemaki, from which it is possible to change to the Rauma Tampere evening train.
The procurement is made pursuant to Article 5, Section 4 of Regulation (EC) No. 1370/2007 in accordance with without tendering. The annual value of the procured traffic is less than 7,500,000 euros and the amount is less than 500,000 kilometers.
