Description:
The municipality of Joroinen is asking for bids for student transportation in the municipality of Joroinen as a supplement to open public transport for the school years 2026-2027 and 2027-2028 (+1+1+1).
Pupil transport means passenger transport carried out on the basis of a passenger transport permit or a taxi permit, which is regular and the management of which is based on the contract for the purchase of services concluded with the municipality of Joroinen.
The transports mainly concern preschool children and elementary and middle school children who are based on § 32 of the Basic Education Act, are entitled to the scope of student transport. The tender is open to everyone who has a taxi license or passenger license.
There were two schools in Joroinen, 1-9 primary schools in the church village and 1-6 primary schools in the Kuvansi agglomeration. A preschool also operates in connection with both schools. Pupil transportation concerns transport between school and home and is carried out in accordance with the school's operating hours, following the reading order. There are 190 school days per year, which are confirmed annually. The school day can occasionally also be Saturday. During school holidays or public holidays pupil transports are not driven and in this case no compensation is paid to the service provider.
School transport in Joroinen municipality is organized as defined in the Keski-Savo school transport guide, appendix 1.
