Description:
The municipality of Joroinen requests bids for student transports that supplement open public transport in the municipality of Joroinen for the academic years 2026-2027 and 2027-2028 (+1+1+1). regular and the management of which is based on the contract for the purchase of services concluded with the municipality of Joroinen. The transports mainly concern preschool children and elementary and middle school children who are based on § 32 of the Basic Education Act, entitled to the scope of student transport. The tender is open to everyone who has a taxi license or passenger license. There are two schools in Joroinen, 1-9 primary school in the church village and 1-6 primary school in the Kuvansi agglomeration. A preschool also operates in connection with both schools. Pupil transportation concerns transport between school and home and is carried out in accordance with the school's operating hours, following the reading order. There are 190 school days per year, which are confirmed annually. The school day can occasionally also be Saturday. During school holidays or public holidays pupil transports are not driven and in this case no compensation is paid to the service provider. School transports in the municipality of Joorien are organized as defined in the Keski-Savo school transport guide, appendix 1.
