• Description:
• The subject of the acquisition is the evaluation of the functionality of the Act on the Protection of Built Heritage (498/2010, Building Heritage Act, RakPL). In the evaluation, various methods are used to collect comprehensive information about the functioning of the law, the problems related to its application and development needs. The goal is to produce information for the development of the law. The implementer must produce a report on the functionality of the law and its correspondence to the changed operating environment and the needs of the operators covered by the law. This is an assessment about the needs for changes and development of the legislation. The report must cover all aspects of the current law as well as related procedures, supervision, sanctions, appeal issues and the tasks and responsibilities of operators, excluding data management the questions. In terms of information management, a separate project set is underway. The goal of the Building Heritage Act is to secure the temporal and spatial diversity of the built cultural environment, to cherish its characteristic nature and special features, and to promote it culturally sustainable care and use. The end result of the acquisition is a report-style evaluation of the functionality of the Building Heritage Act. The implementer presents the functionality assessment at three public events, which are defined by the Ministry of the Environment. Events are timed for autumn 2026 and spring 2027 (e.g. current date of building heritage and renovation construction).
