- The object of the procurement is the new filter bases for clarification and filtration departments PK1 and PK2 of the Pitkaekoski water treatment plant of the Helsinki region's environmental services municipal corporation HSY. PK2 department filter bases are purchased as a possible option.
New filters will be installed in place of the current sand filter basesinsoles, at the same time the total filtration capacity is increased. Sand filtration is part of the plant's water treatment process after clarification. The installations of the equipment are included in the overall renovation contracts, which the competitiondone separately. The content and requirements of the equipment supply are presented in more detail in the procurement program.
