Description:
The object of the procurement is the planning and implementation of the international Living Lab testing event related to digital border security in North Karelia / Joensuu region. The testing event must be organized between the end of January and the end of March 2026, when it is winter in Finland and arctic conditions. The duration of the event is approximately one week (5 10 days). A more precise time and schedule will be confirmed later. The event will test various technologies related to border security. The testing event is a continuation of the international Living held in Joensuu in May 2025 For the Lab workshop, which was implemented as part of the Digital border security research project 1.2. 31 August 2025. The international Living Lab testing event will be implemented as part of Business Joensuu Oy managed by Border-land Europe. Digital border security - Living Lab project, which has received ERDF funding from the North Karelia Provincial Union. The project implementation period is 1 October 2025 31 December 2027.
