At Porthania, at Yliopistonkatu 3, Technical Repairs and Functional Changes, the project is carried out as a project alliance, where the alliance formed is responsible for the planning and implementation of the project and the 5 -year post -responsibility obligations. The size of Porthania is about 21,150 brm2 and volumeis about 69,000 m3. The building was completed in 1957 and was designed by architect Aarne Ervi. Extensive and demanding conservation objectives to the building. The building was renovated in 2004-2006. The content and scope of the project is planned in cooperation, taking into account the conservation objectives of the building.The preliminary content of the project is eg. - There is a need to develop and modernize office, learning and gathering facilities. -There is a need to develop the common premises of the building as part of the Porthania Main Building Science Corner. - Technology is in need of renewal - the roofs and tape facade pages must be corrected in the requiredTo the extent, the more detailed content and scope of the project is planned in cooperation as an Alliance. The purpose of the acquisition is to find the main contractor, which together with the customer, the chief designer, other designers, the other contractors, the user and the authoritiesand renovation according to the customer's goals.
