Description:
The city of Porvoo is asking for bids for the club instructors of the Finnish model of recreation project.
The city of Porvoo is participating in the project search for the Finnish model of recreation. The goal is to organize hobby activities for school children in the city of Porvoo so that every child has the opportunity to participate in art,household, handicraft, music or sports group activities according to their own wishes.
The hobby groups and themes of the Porvoo hobby model are selected taking into account the wishes of the students and the resources reserved for implementation. In the academic year 2024 - 2025, the activities will basically be organized by grade levelfor (1) - 3 - 9.

As a general rule, the activity must be organized on school premises or in close proximity to schools, but for year classes 6 - 9 it is also possible to organize it elsewhere, e.g. on the service provider's own premises. Clubs are organized on school days, after the school day; current alkamis times from 12:15 to 16:15. As a rule, the length of a club session is 60 minutes, but for example, cooking clubs can be 120 minutes long if the group is large.
Clubs organize the entire school year in sustainable ways. A hobby can consist of several different sports or fields, which vary weekly or monthlyn. The groups are mainly organized as close guidance. At least computer game, animation, coding and game design groups will be offered as remote controls in the 2024 - 2025 season. Other remote control groups can also be offered.
