- The procurement is part of Metro's capacity and reliability development project (Metka project). The procurement includes planning, specification and development services, access control system delivery and access control system service and maintenance services. The content of the procurement was described in more detail in the procurement documents attached to the request for participation. a key means of ensuring metro safety. The current access control system is at the end of its life cycle and its reliable service life is nearing its end. The aim of the change is to operate the subway significantly more efficiently than the current one. Subject to acquisition the existing access control system must enable the frequency of subways to be increased when it becomes relevant when acquiring additional subway trains. Metro's access control system will thus also be renewed to satisfy future capacity needs, with a system that is economically cost-effective and offers a higher level of automation. In this way, the metro system's ability to respond to possible rapidly growing demand can be ensured.
