Description:
In 2016, the computed tomography device located in Tays Central Hospital in Pirkanmaa's welfare area, in the area of responsibility for imaging, was purchased from GE Healthcare Finland Oy. 6,000 examinations are performed with the device every year, and all the patients being photographed are patients of specialized medical care. The device is at the end of its useful life, but with the help of an update, the functionality of the device can be improved and the lifespan extended significantly. Due to the compatibility requirement, an update offer has been requested from the supplier of the original device, from GE Healthcare Finland Oy. The Revolution Apex Edition update improves image quality and reduces the quantitative use of contrast material per patient. In connection with the update, the wearing parts of the hardware are also renewed. The update can be delivered by no one but original equipment supplier. Based on the above, GE Healthcare Finland Oy is presented as the supplier of the update.
