Description:
The Kainuu Welfare Area is preparing for the new 1.5 t MRI acquisition of Magnetic resonance imaging equipment.
The current hardware has conducted about 3,700 studies per year (2024), of which about 7 % have been children's studies.
The current tendering for the acquisition of new hardware is under preparation is the goal do about 5,000 studies each year.
The introduction of the new device will be expected to take place during late 2026 during the early spring and start of the fall.
This prior notice will inform potential tenderers about the launch of a future acquisition of a future acquisition with an open procedure In the autumn of 2025. This pre -notice is not a contract notice and this prior notice will not begin the actual tendering of the preparatory procurement. In addition, this prior notice does not launch market dialogue, technical dialogue or information request survey.
