Description: A new, underground UV disinfection plant will be built in connection with Turku Region Treatment Plant Oy's Kakolanmäki wastewater treatment plant as part of the exhaust pipe capacity improvement project (PPKT). An excavation contract is currently underway at the site, and a tender for the construction of the actual UV plant contract is scheduled to start in November 2020. Implementation of the contract will begin in spring 2021. The plant is scheduled to be ready for commissioning in spring 2023.
We also encourage contractors to participate in the tender as consortia.
With this advance notice, we want to inform contractors about our upcoming procurement.
