SLYHY Description: VTT has a pyrolysis pilot equipment designed for biomass pyrolysis. Recycling targets have also expanded pyrolysis research into plastics and the ongoing project is intended to modify the pilot equipment in order to be able to study plastic pyrolysis in the future. The objects to be edited are the feed system of the raw material and the recovery of the product. The modification has begun with the pre-design of the device, which includes documentation of the necessary modifications and an updated PI diagram. After the pre -design, the work will continue with the actual design, where new equipment is sized. In addition, HAZOP (HAZOP) is carried out and the component of the necessary components is updated.
