• This is not a request for bids, but an advance notice of the planned competition! The city of Espoo will request bids for the purchase of aggregates, productized growing medium materials, bark coverings and safety chips. The city of Espoo is intended to be selected for the framework arrangement to be formed on the basis of the tender by sub-area: 1. For sub-area 1: Aggregates a maximum of five (5) suppliers and a maximum of two (2) alternate suppliers 2. For sub-area 2: Growth platforms a maximum of four (4) suppliers and a maximum of one (1) alternate supplier 3. For sub-area 3: Covering materials and security chips, a maximum of four (4) suppliers and a maximum of one (1) substitute supplier. The purpose of this notice is to shorten the deadlines in accordance with § 57 subsection 2 of the Procurement Act (1397/2016); the announcement is just preliminary information about the upcoming competition. This announcement does not solicit participation applications or offers. The information presented in the announcement is preliminary and may change during the tender preparation. Current estimated according to the schedule, the request for tender will be published in March 2025. The contract period is planned to start in May 2025. The start date of the contract period is an estimate and the contract period begins when the procurement decision has gained legal force and the contract has been signed. The duration of the agreement is supposed to be for a fixed period of 4 years from the entry into force of the agreement.
