- The city of Sastamala organizes interleaving services in the area of 18 municipalities/cities (Akaa, Haemeenkyroe, Ikaalinen, Juupajoki, Kangasala, Lempaeaelae, Nokia, Orivesi, Paelkaene, Pirkkala, Ruovesi, Sastamala, Tampere, Urjala, Vesilahti, Valkeakoski, Virrat and Yloejaervi). The city of Sastamala has a head in its serviceapprox. 115 employees working as agricultural interleavers, who interleave most of the interleaving needs. The need for additional services is caused by acute interleaving requests from agricultural entrepreneurs and the absences of regular interleaving services for various reasons. In addition, interleaving services can be purchased as servicescan also be obtained for normal annual leave or substitute knitting orders alongside monthly-paid interleavers. If necessary, the purchase service is also used for subsidized paid interleaving. When performing the service, the currently valid Agricultural Entrepreneurs Interleaving Services Act 20.12.1996/123 is complied with1.
In the area of interleaving services, 31,100 days were interleaved in 2022, of which approximately 2,500 days were handled as purchasing services.
Procurement is divided into six different sub-assemblies according to the production sectors. The offer can apply to all production sectors or one or more parts.
