• Description:
• A new water treatment plant is being planned next to the Hinta water plant of Oulun Vesi. The estimated total cost of the project is around €60 million and construction is estimated to start in 2027 at the latest. Construction is estimated to end in 2029 and the facility will be handed over for production use in the year 2030 after commissioning. For the expansion project of the Hinta surface water plant, there is a need to get the services of a developer consultant and monitoring resources for different technical fields. The consultants will already assist the customer in the planning phase, during which the consultants check and comment on the implementation plan, and help the customer to tender e.g. contractors for preparatory work. This consultant entity (builder consultant and supervisors) a limited procedure has been chosen as the procurement procedure. The duration of the contract is until June 1, 2030 + 1 year option period. The subscriber alone decides on the use of the option. Russia's war of aggression against Ukraine from February 2022 caused a fundamental security environment change.
