- Description:
- The object of the acquisition is educational robotics equipment for use in Finnish and Swedish-speaking early childhood education, pre-primary education, basic education, secondary education, and youth and adult education. The procurement is divided into four (4) sub-areas as follows: 1. Playful and social robots 2. Complete construction kits 3. Microcontrollers and development platforms 4. Electronics components and accessories The offer comparison is done by sub-area. The offer can be left in one, several or all areas. A maximum of five (5) suppliers will be selected for each sub-area. Selected suppliers are used in order of priority. The priority order can be deviated from as described in the draft contract. The same supplier can be selected as a contract supplier for several to the subdivision. The contract period is two (2) years. The subscriber reserves the right to extend the contract with two (2) one (1) year option periods. Playful robots refer to robots suitable for teaching programming. Playful robots are mainly used in early childhood education and basic education and their goal is to attract the learner to the basics of programming. The target group of users of social robots is wider than playful robots, because they can also be used in other industries.
