- Description:
- The subject of the procurement is the implementation of the electric energy storage battery system for Kotka Julkiset Kiinteistö Oy's properties and their maintenance services, as well as the services of the reserve market aggregator. The total power of the implemented battery system in phase 1 is approx 1.3 MW distributed among the Procurement Unit's sites as described in the request for tender. The procurement unit's additional procurement option is an option for phase 2 (estimated to be in 2028-2029 at the earliest). The delivered system must be aggregator-independent, i.e it must be possible to change the operating aggregator. The delivered system must meet the system technical requirements of Fingrid's electricity storage SJV2024. The battery manufacturer (modules) must be Tier 1 or 2 (BNEF or similar). The system must be the so-called smart, acting in the most productive way possible with real estate in mind. If the candidate himself is not an aggregator-supplier, he must participate in the procurement procedure together with the aggregator-supplier in such a way that the partner is named no later than 29/05/2026. Procurement decision and start of the project with a battery order together with the selected supplier June 2026. The minimum requirements for procurement and the supplier to be chosen are presented on the participation application form. Designed by the procurement unit the requirements and conditions as the starting point of the competitive negotiation procedure are stated in the request for tender.
