Description:
The rescue service of the city of Helsinki plans to acquire two (2) new rescue command vehicles within the budget in 2023, to be used in various rescue alert tasks. Command trucks will be ordered after the procurement decision becomes legally binding.
The vehicles will be used by the fire department on dutyestar's field management duties for demanding professional fire and rescue operations, especially in densely built urban environments. The vehicles are operated in the entire Helsinki area and, on a case-by-case basis, also in other cooperative rescue areas. A key part of high-quality field management is thabsorbing message traffic, which has been tried to be ensured with the necessary means of communication and with the help of computer-based field management systems. There are driving seats inside the vehicle, which enable driving from both the front seat and the back seat.
Ensuring the readiness of the 24-hour field management, othere.g. the use of equipment and data and radio equipment, even in exceptionally difficult weather conditions, place special requirements on the vehicle and its aftermarket (such as maintenance, repair and spare parts service as well as technical advice). The vehicle to be purchased must have a chassissuitable for the purpose, in terms of suspension and space solutions, as well as usability and maintainability as a whole.
The tenderer must deliver one (1) base car (off-road vehicle) corresponding to the offered vehicle for the purpose of comparing the characteristics of the lead cars within three (3) working days of the procurement...
