• Description:
• The object of the procurement is device-related consumables for the existing IVUS device, which is used in the Päijät-Häme welfare area. The IVUS device needs device-related consumables to function. The device is used to make blood vessels and arteries ultrasound imaging. Consumables from other manufacturers are not compatible with the existing device. The statutory obligation of the Päijät-Häme welfare area to organize safe and functional health and medical care services and the technical requirements determined by the procurement unit and the need in terms of implementing the patients' necessary treatment, no reasonable alternative or replacement solutions for the equipment-related consumables to be purchased. The contract is valid until further notice. The contracting party may terminate a contract valid for an indefinite period in writing, subject to a notice period of six (6) months. The contract can also be terminated immediately if the products covered by it are covered by another contract with tendering. PROCUREMENT PROCEDURE The value of the procurement exceeds the EU threshold value according to Section 26 of the Procurement Act and the procurement procedure is carried out as a direct procurement according to Section 40 of the Procurement Act, where the procurement unit negotiates with the supplier of its choice of the terms of the procurement contract without publishing a procurement notice in advance.
