Description:
Procurement Services of the City of Turku's corporate administration is requesting bids for the commission of the education and teaching service package for Turku's vocational training janitorial services for the period 1.1.2023 (target) - 31.12.2025, options for the period 1.1.2026 - 31.12.2026 and 1.1.2027 - 31.12.2027. Contract customsI will decide upon the completion of the new Taito campus with a notice period of six (6) months. The Taito campus is estimated to be completed in the fall of 2027.
The object of the procurement is janitorial services for the school buildings of the Turku Vocational Institute (TAI). The janitors' service hours vary by school building, example: weekdaysin at 07:45 - 15:45. Bids are being requested for the services of janitors in five school buildings. In some school buildings, janitors work half-time. The janitor's versatile job description emphasizes high-quality and customer-oriented service, quick reaction to unexpected situations, and flexibilitys in changing situations. The task of the janitor service is to ensure that business and operations at the school are as smooth as possible, both in terms of the use of facilities and services. The janitor's duties vary from school building to school building. Tasks include, for example, organization services for various schoolsfor events, general supervision, reception of incoming goods, deliveries by the customer's car during the day, equipment transfers and assisting staff and property maintenance.
One (1) supplier will be selected to provide janitorial services for the school buildings of the Turku Vocational Institute (TAI).
