• The tender concerns the handling of school transport for the pupils participating in pre-primary and basic education in the Kaustinen municipality, as described in the tender documents, on the basis of a public transport permit or a taxi permit for the contract period, the duration of which is the academic year 2026-2028 for. The contract also includes an option option for the academic year 2028-2029. The subject of the tender is the routes according to Appendix 6 (ROUTES FOR THE 2026-2028 SCHOOL YEAR), hospital school transportation and other transportation of educational services. In the tender the conditions and decision principles to be followed are defined in more detail in Appendix 1 (TERMS OF THE TENDER COMPETITION). During the contract period, the contract documents binding the selected tenderer are described in Appendix 2 (TRANSPORTATION CONTRACT DRAFT). The basic idea of ​​the RFP is, that the offer gives the price/route/time and total kilometers and the route-specific kilometer prices are determined based on these. Operators are selected per route primarily on the basis of the route price (price/route/time) and secondarily based on the price per kilometer of the above route. One bidder is selected as the contract partner for each sub-set (route). The tenderer can make an offer for one, several or all sub-assemblies according to his choice.
