AAU Library is upgrading its technical infrastructure to meet future demands for accessibility, efficiency, and user experience. The procurement includes solutions for self-service, handling of reserved materials, RFID-based inventory, integration with Ex Libris Alma, and digital interfaces for patron interaction. The Astra Library will function as a course book library with an emphasis on self-service. Operating in an open and modern environment, it requires flexible and reliable technology that supports independent access and efficient workflows. -Acquire modern and scalable technical solutions that support the library's operations and future development. -Ensure compatibility with existing library systems. - Enable efficient management of collections, reserved materials, and self-service functions, with a focus on usability and accessibility. -Strengthen operational reliability and enable centralized monitoring and administration of equipment. -Provide cost-effective, sustainable, and adaptable solutions that fit the physical layout and service model of the library.
