• Description:
• The object of the procurement is the mechanized dose distribution service for the pharmacy and medicine customers of the central Finland welfare region's home and housing services responsibility area. Medicine dose distribution services are purchased by the elderly and special groups (disabled, intellectually disabled, mental health and substance abuse rehabilitating) clients of housing and home care services. The scope of dose distribution includes all customers for whom a need for mechanical dose distribution of medicines has been established and for whom dose distribution suitable for the implementation of medical treatment. The mechanized dose distribution service initially includes managing the medical care of the customers of the Subscriber's operating units mentioned in Appendix 2, which includes at least the initiation of medication dose distribution, mechanized dose distribution every two (2) weeks for single doses, administration of customer prescriptions, evaluation of the suitability of the customer's medication for dose distribution, evaluation of interactions and review of medication. The service also includes the customer's other delivery of prescription drugs (e.g. not suitable for dose distribution, such as injection preparations, medicinal patches, inhalation preparations) and self-medication preparations, as well as scheduled transport of medicines and emergency transport to operating units.
