Description:
The City of Helsinki's social, health and rescue department is requesting bids for waste management services for medical waste and packaging contaminated with drugs in accordance with this request for bids and its appendices. The object of the acquisition is the City of Helsinki providing waste management services for medical waste (hereinafter medical waste) and packaging contaminated with medicines (hereinafter hospital glass) generated in social, health and rescue services. Other hazardous waste The city of Helsinki is tendered separately, and this tender does not apply to them. Procurement is divided into two areas: - Section 1: Waste management of medical waste (items in the waste list: 18 01 08* cytotoxic drugs and cytostats and 18 01 09* other than in item 18 01 08 mentioned medicines) - Section 2: Hospital glass waste management (item of the waste list: 15 01 10* packages that contain residues of dangerous substances or are contaminated by them) Based on the tender, one (1) will be selected for each sub-area service provider. Pharmaceutical waste includes e.g. solid medical waste, liquid medical waste, infectious medical waste, iodine- and bromine-containing drugs, drug aerosols and cell blockers. Hospital glasses are e.g. empty ampoules, injection and reagent bottles, lagenulas.
