Description:
The object of procurement is the oral healthcare services of the Rovaniemi unit of the Lapland welfare region (hereinafter referred to as the "Procurement unit") as purchase services.
The service includes an examination of the mouth of an adult patient (hereinafter "Patient") and treatment according to the treatment plan until completion, i.e. the so-called total treatment. Huhcomprehensive care also includes the special fields of dentistry: prosthetics, periodontics, endodontics and oral and maxillofacial surgery, as they are not treatments that require special medical treatment.
The assessment of the patient's need for treatment has been made by the client including the patient's first contactin the making. Patients expect an unhurried oral healthcare appointment. The procurement unit delivers the completed patient lists to the Service Provider, who takes care of the patients' appointments and the provision of services until completion. An option is possiblethe possibility of acquiring an additional 1,000 total treatment for 1,000 adult patients.
The customer enters into a procurement contract with two separate Service Providers, from both of which the total treatment of 2,000 patients is to be procured, plus options for 500,500 in accordance with the contract terms.
The service is produced by the Serviceat the producer's premises, dentist-dental nurse work pairs and dental hygienists in accordance with the treatment plan.
