Description:
The city of Vantaa tendered outdoor equipment and furniture to the city of Vantaa, Vantaa Tilapalvelut Vantti Oy and VTK Kiinteistöt Oy (later the Customer). The procurement is divided into seven (7) sub-areas as follows:1. Outdoor playground equipment2. Environmental and urban furniture3. Outdoor gym equipment4. Static outdoor exercise equipment5. Garbage containers6. Deep collection containers and surface containers7. Bicycle racks The offer comparison was made by sub-area. The offer could be submitted to one, more or all areas. A maximum of five (5) contract suppliers were selected for sub-areas 1, 2, 3 and 4, and a maximum of three (3) contract suppliers for sub-areas 5, 6 and 7. The same supplier could be selected as a contract supplier for several to the subdivision. The contract period is two (2) years. The customer reserves the right to extend the contract for two (2) one (1) year option periods. For sub-areas 1-4, the procurement entity requires that the tenderer has the opportunity to also deliver accessible tools and furniture. The products must be designed and tested for public playgrounds and parks and they must meet the regulations on quality and safety in accordance with valid EU standards.
