• This is a market survey, not an advance notice, not a procurement notice, and not a request for tenders. The City of Helsinki's education and training sector is tendering piano tuning services for the period 1 September 2026 to 31 August 2028. the schools, educational institutions, kindergartens, labor college and Arbiks (Svenska Arbetarinstitutet Helsingfors) belonging to the industry have a total of about 950 pianos and about 50 grand pianos. The subscriber does not commit to anything specific As a general rule, pianos are tuned every two years, with the exception of pianos in ballrooms and music-oriented offices, which are tuned as needed. Tuning always takes place during the office's operating hours 3 service providers. The aim is to make procurements during the contract period, mainly in the order of priority according to the competition. The order of priority can be deviated from, if the option ranked first is not available, then the service will be ordered according to the order of priority from the next service provider. The contract includes the option of a maximum two (2) year option period. The subscriber decides on the use of the option period no later than six (6) months before the end of the actual contract period. Here the validity of the procurement contracts expires on August 31, 2030 at the latest.
