- The education and training sector of the City of Helsinki tenders piano tuning services for the period 1 October 2026-30 September 2028 at schools, educational institutions, kindergartens, labor college and Arbiks (Svenska Arbetarinstitutet Helsingfors) has a total of about 950 pianos and about 50 grand pianos. The customer does not commit to any specific purchase quantity. As a rule, the pianos are tuned every two years, with the exception of ballroom and pianos in music-oriented offices, which are tuned as needed. Tuning always takes place during the office's operating hours. 3 service providers are selected for the framework arrangement. If there are no suppliers who meet the requirements in the numbers mentioned above according to this, fewer suppliers will be selected. Procurements will be made during the contract period, mainly in the order of priority according to the competition. The priority order can be deviated from if the service provider ranked first is unable to deliver service in the schedule required by the subscriber. In this case, the service is ordered from the next service provider in order of priority. The contract includes the option of a maximum two (2) year option period. The subscriber decides on the use of the option period at the latest three (3) months before the end of the actual contract period. In this case, the validity of the procurement contracts will expire on September 30, 2030 at the latest.
