Description:
Oulu Water has approximately 36,000 water meters and in the next six years our goal is to switch to remote reading of water meters. Oulun Vesi has been testing water meters that work with LoRa technology since 2019, and about 1,300 meters have been installed pieces. Oulun Vesi acquires a complete system of remotely readable water meters from a supplier, which includes the following areas: -Remotely readable water meters -Water meter data transfer (LoraWan, NB-IoT or other secure data transfer) to Vesitieto, To the Azure platform of the city of Oulu or to another system.-Device management application for water meters.
