• During the years 2026-2028, the rescue service of the city of Helsinki will expand the public alarm network of the city of Helsinki, for which approximately 40 speaker batteries for public alarms will be acquired as planned during the years 2026-2028. The goal of the acquisition is to expand Helsinki's fixed population alarm system to serve everyone living and staying in the area and to ensure that it meets up-to-date requirements. The expansion of the current system has become topical, especially for new residential areas with construction. The rescue service of the city of Helsinki is asking for an offer for speaker batteries that can be used to warn the public as defined in the instructions given by the Ministry of the Interior on sound signals used to warn the public (SMDno/2013/898) intended sound marks. The speaker batteries to be purchased contain enclosed speakers suitable for outdoor use, a cable and their protected connection space in accordance with at least IP66 classification. Durability is required from the speaker batteries to be purchased, long life cycle and suitability for Helsinki's weather conditions. The delivered parts must also be safe and suitable for their purpose. The procurement does not include control systems for population alarms, amplifier centers or installation. Target schedule ten speaker batteries will be delivered to the place specified by the customer in Helsinki in 2026 for the procurement of speaker batteries. 10 speaker batteries with cables are ordered as planned...
