Description:
The project produces reference values based on extensive representative Finnish natural forest data on the amount of dead wood and the structure of living trees characteristic of natural forests. In the project, experimental areas established in the 1990s are located, and their live and dead trees (vertical and ground trees) are measured again. The re-measurements have been made in 2018, 2024 and 2025. The measurements will be continued in 2026 in the Southern Finland region. The Natural Resources Center is requesting an offer for the tree stand measurement service for the 2026 field season. The work is mainly done in the field in working pairs.
