- The Mental Health and Dependence Service Units in the Kainuu Welfare Area are responsible for researching, treatment and rehabilitation of mental health, substance abuse and other dependencies of all ages at the levels of basic and specialized health care. Divided into services for children, young people and adults. The Kainuu Welfare Area will launch a tender to secure the availability of services and request bids for four (4) psychiatric services. are: 1) Child psychiatry specialist services, Kainuu Central Hospital Outpatient Clinic and Department2) Youth Psychiatric Specialist Services, Kainuu Central Hospital Outpatient Clinic3) Adult Psychiatric Specialists, Kainuu Welfare Area) Substance Abuse Services, Kainuu Welfare Agreement Services Estimated start date in sub-areas 1, 2 and 3 is 1.7.2026. The estimated start date of the contracts in sub-area 4 is 1.1.2026. The actual contract period is in all areas AD 31.12.2028.
