Description:
CSC - Tieteen vitoteknikan keskus Oy requests offers for routing and switching devices and related spare parts and support services for use primarily in new data center environments and Campus networks (Campus Network as a Service (CNaaS)). The devices can possibly be usedalso to some other extensions related to the Funet network. A more detailed description of the uses and the desired features and functions will be given later.
In a nutshell, the object of this procurement is:
* IP routing devices that support MPLS segment routing for ISIS-SR and MPLS segmentsWith L2 and L3 services (EVPN over MPLS, IPv4 L3VPN and IPv6 L3VPN) in different port configurations.
* Ethernet switches in different port configurations for industry-standard VLAN switching with basic unicast BGP routing capabilities. For possible future needs, EVPN-VXLAN's hardware anda software capabilities are absolutely required.
* 400G EVPN-VXLAN compatible data center switching devices and optical modules for these switches.
* Access switches with PoE (Power over Ethernet) and without PoE. These switches should provide very basic Ethernet switching and skaloading properties. Access switches are not required to have EVPN-VXLAN or similar features.
* Possible software licenses, if any are needed to implement the minimum required features.
