• Description:
• The object of the procurement is the mechanized dose distribution service for the pharmacy and medicine customers of the central Finland welfare regions home and housing services responsibility area. The acquisition aims to complement the previously published acquisition of those areas for which no offers were received. Medicines dose distribution services are procured for elderly and special groups (disabled, intellectually disabled, mental health and substance abuse rehabilitation) clients of housing and home care services. Included in the dose distribution all customers who have been diagnosed with a need for mechanized dose distribution of medicines and for whom dose distribution is suitable for the implementation of drug treatment. The mechanized dose delivery service initially includes the Customer's operational units mentioned in Appendix 2 taking care of the clients' medication care, which includes at least the initiation of medication dose distribution, mechanical dose distribution for single doses every two (2) weeks, administration of clients prescriptions, suitability of the clients medication for dose distribution assessment, assessment of interactions and review of medication. The service also includes the delivery of the customer's other prescription drugs (e.g. those not suitable for dose distribution, such as injection preparations, medical patches, inhalation preparations) and self-medication preparations as well as scheduled transport of medicines and emergency transport to operating units.
