Description:
The City of Riihimaki (hereinafter "Procurement Unit" or "Client") is requesting bids for the procurement of the ticket payment and information system for the local transport of the City of Riihimaki as a SaaS service in accordance with the request for tenders and its appendices. The procurement also includes vehicle equipment to be installed in cars and related system. The customer acquires the services according to the contract as a complete solution, which can consist of several systems. The ticket, payment and information system is used to maintain and publish timetable, train, route and stop information, as well as sell and validate travel tickets and maintain their prices and features. In addition, the system collects and processes travel and tracking data, accounts for the accumulated box office revenue and ensures that it is allocated to the right parties. With the help of the system, invitation traffic is also ordered and related to it is presented information to the customer. The service package is divided into the sub-areas shown in Appendix 2 (Definition of Competition Targets). Requirements have been set for the client application in several areas. In these contexts, client application means one and the same client application, with which all sub-areas the requirements must be feasible. The duration of the contract period is 01.06.2026-03.06.2029, after which there is a possibility of a 3-year option period.
