• The subject of the procurement is the procurement of taxi journeys as an intermediary service, mainly for the fast transportation needs of the City of Vantaa's personnel and persons, such as students, under the terms and conditions of the request for tender and its appendices. The area of ​​operation of the service is the capital region (Helsinki, Espoo, Vantaa and Kauniainen). The operating area means that the trip starts or ends in the area/territory of these mentioned municipalities. In addition to passenger transport, the contract can also be used if necessary for vehicles under 100 kg according to the Taxi Act for goods shipments. Taxi journeys are mainly carried out by cars (1-4 people) and minivans (5-8 people), but if necessary, also by a barrier-free vehicle. A barrier-free vehicle is especially for the transport of people using wheelchairs built and equipped vehicle. The tenderer must have sufficient vehicle capacity within the scope of the brokerage service, at least 20 vehicles with which the service is performed and the availability of vehicles in response times can be guaranteed. Based on the competition, one (1) will be selected supplier. The contract is temporary and its duration is one (1) year. After the fixed contract period, this contract will automatically continue indefinitely, unless the contract is terminated separately in writing by the other party in accordance with the terms of the contract.
