Description:
The object of the procurement is the testing services of the Finnish Safety and Chemicals Agency (Tukes) for product control of construction products and chemicals. The Safety and Chemicals Agency, or Tukes, supervises the safety and compliance of construction products sold in Finland. A construction product is a product or product system, which is installed as a permanent part of the construction site and has effects on the essential technical characteristics of the construction site. The requirements for the product are based on either the EU Construction Product Regulation or the Construction Act and the regulations issued pursuant to it. If there is one for the product harmonized product standard or if the manufacturer has applied for a European technical evaluation, it can be CE marked. The construction product may also be subject to other legislative requirements, such as, for example, requirements from the EU's chemical legislation, which are also supervised by Tukes. is carried out as a random experiment and is targeted on a risk basis. Tukes uses the testing services of external laboratories to help with supervision. An estimated 10-12 products will be tested with the testing services purchased from external laboratories. Exact the amount is specified during the order phase. The thicknesses of the tested products are between 10-20 and 50-100 mm.
