• The object of the acquisition is the VMware licenses needed by Fintraffic Tie Oy (hereinafter also "Procurement Entity" and "Client") for the server virtualization system running on top of the existing roadside technology capacity platform service. Virtualization system is acquired for the virtualized running of traffic management workloads. The need for the acquisition is due to the fact that the Procurement Unit's entire server virtualizations are based on VMware technology. About 95% of the subscriber's servers have been virtualized. The current one of the purchasing unit licensing from VMware Cloud Foundation (VCF) has ended 02/2026 when the procurement channel expires. In addition, VCF Advanced Services licenses can be purchased as an option, such as Data Services Manager, VMware Live Recovery, vDefend Firewall and other Broadcom product-related licenses. The condition of the purchase is that the Procurement Unit manages its VMware environment itself from its own computer rooms. The procurement unit must also have the opportunity to open support requests directly to Broadcom and use those offered by Broadcom technical online courses and training materials to maintain the skills of its experts. The goal of the procurement is to acquire a partner for passing on licenses.
