Description:
The City of Salo (hereinafter referred to as the contracting entity / subscriber) requests bids for the acquisition of the Vuohensaari tourism and recreational service provider in accordance with this contract notice, the invitation to tender and its annexes. The procurement documents are in the offer service to which the link is this Participation and contact / procurement documents under the contract notice. The aim of the City of Salo is to find a long -term service provider and partner to determine the determined development of Vuohensaari operations and services. Vuohennsaari is located about 4 kilometers from the center of Salo. The service provider is and independently is responsible for providing Vuohensaari tourism, cafe and ancillary services. The City of Salo concludes a service agreement with one contractor for providing Vuohensaari services. The contract period begins on 1.1.2026.
In 1933 to the Salo Kauppala Tourism And Vuohensaari donated for recreational use is largely a natural forest and rocky area with nature and landscape paths. The eastern part of the island was protected by the Nature Conservation Act in 2007 and is also part of the Viurilanlahti Natura area. The terms of the gift book were required to have an island transforming into a nature park and use as a recreational area.
