Description: The object of the acquisition is to replace the current Vuosaari relocatable x-ray system with a new mobile x-ray system.
In addition, it is possible that Customs will reserve an option in the tender to purchase a new X-ray vehicle to replace the current X-ray machine in Nuijamaa when the current X-ray machine reaches the age of 10 in 2024.
In the case of procurement, a X-ray car means a X-ray system built into the chassis of the vehicle that allows the inspection of entire trucks (empty / full), containers and passenger cars to detect dangerous or illegal cargo and verify the actual contents of the cargo without manual inspection.
The X-ray car must be able to work in different parts of Finland in ports and border crossing points.
