• Description:
• The object of the acquisition is an image-guided isocentric linear accelerator for radiation therapy with peripheral devices.
  The radiation therapy unit of Vaasa Central Hospital has three radiation therapy devices: Varian Truebeam "Hoitokone L1" (6MV, 6FFF, 10MV and 15MV), and Varian Truebeam L2 (6MV and 6FFF) and Varian Truebeam L3 (6MV, 10MV and 15MV). The radiation properties of the treatment devices have been matched. At the moment, patients can be changed, e.g. in the event of a malfunction, from one treatment machine to another directly within the treatment energy. The unit currently treats a little over a thousand patients each year. The oldest of the treatment devices (Truebeam L3) earsnow with a new linear accelerator.
  Reliability, repeatability, flexibility, efficient use of time and continuity are important for the operation of the clinic. Patients often come from a long distance, so radiation therapy must be able to be administered appropriately even in failure situations and e.g. during maintenance. That's ittherefore, it is absolutely important that, if necessary, patients can be switched from the device they are currently purchasing to another radiotherapy device in the clinic and vice versa without extra work and uncertainty. The system to be purchased is also the only possible backup machine for 10 MV and 15 MV energiesFor patients of the L1 treatment machine.
  The offered system must be able to treat the patient with the same energy as the treatment plan made for the L1 or L2 treatment machine, and vice versa. It is considered an advantage if the patient and radiotherapy plan can be directly picked up from the list of another treatment machine, and the treatment can be transferred...
